In 1997, a family friend presented Keith, Kim, and Kim’s parents — Al and Mary Hooyman — with the opportunity to start a Butter Braid® pastry dealership in Colorado. Starting from the ground up, earning sales experience through building the company, they established one of the most successful dealerships in the country!
Over the past 27 years, they have met countless wonderful customers and worked with many amazing employees. Al and Mary retired in 2022 and Kim and Keith took the reins, raising their own children with a family culture of strong work ethic and an eagerness to help others. This third generation, freshly graduated from college, is eagerly stepping up to follow in the family business’s footsteps. Just like in the beginning, they intend to continue their goal of blessing others through “Sharing the Good.” They strive to be leaders in the industry, serving others, having fun along the way, and treating their customers as they would like to be treated — with integrity!
Co-Owner and Founder
Keith Wagner
Living on both American coasts prior to his life in Colorado, Keith is one of the founders of Integrity Fundraising. Growing up in Seattle, he graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in aviation and planned to be a commercial pilot. He and Kim were introduced to Marlyn Moen, a Trans World Airlines (TWA) pilot who had flown with Keith’s father, and the owner of Show Me Dough Fundraising. Starting without any experience in sales or fundraising, he, Kim, and her parents have built it into the successful state-wide dealership it is today. When he isn’t finding new, high-quality products to satisfy our customers, he most enjoys spending time motorcycling with his sons, sailing with his family, and cooking.
Fun Fact: He and Kim currently manage a new fundraiser branch, Sound Fundraising, out in Seattle, Washington.
Co-Owner and Founder
Kimberly Wagner
Kim met Keith two weeks after moving across half the country from New Jersey to Colorado. They married in 1994 and settled down to start a family in our very own Town of Castle Rock. Her bright and industrious personality helps maintain the business’s momentum and spirit. Since the beginning, her focus has been building relationships, and she most enjoys meeting customers at deliveries. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family, reading, and baking.
Fun Fact: Kim is a traveler extraordinaire! No challenging flight itineraries can stand in her way!
Favorite book genre: Anything historical!
Founders
Al & Mary Hooyman
Al and Mary moved to Colorado from New Jersey to spend more time with their grandchildren in 1997 — the year of the company’s founding. Rather than spending small weekends with the kids, they instead spent an abundance of time with the Wagner family starting the company. With a passion for people, they’ve stuck to it, starting in the Wagner’s basement and evolving to the current warehouse location that has allowed the company to expand it’s reach. Even though they are retired, Al — “Mr. Butter Braid” around town — still maintains close ties with Integrity employees and customers, and Mary still bakes at least one Butter Braid® pastry a week to share with others at church and around town.
Watching Integrity grow with the next generation, they find other events to fill their time now, such as spending time with the grandkids, finding projects around the house (Al), or writing letters and gardening (Mary).
